The small slender phisique of a shadowed arabian mare bowed her head down to drink from the cool water ... slurp... was the small drinking noise she made as she lapped up the water and let it trickle down her throat she then raised her shadowed head yet again and walked slowly towards a shady tree to escape the hot sun she bent her beautifull head yet again so she could graze ... she sighed as the sun was not escaped as it shone down on her sleek black pelt... those who may watch her would wonder what went on in her dark twisted mind as she was the emo-ish sorta horse who couldnt care less if her best friend was slaughtered before her ... not that she had any friends ... she usualy seduced stallions and led them right off a cliff and watched them fall wating for the splatter they would make when they hit the ground ... some horses said she was a disaster waiting to happen ... but some said she was a shadow mare of such dark but devine beauty ... but she herself said "I am Napalm........"

The bed of the Crackenback was lined with pebbles and stones smoothed by the continual movement of water. They shifted and settled under the trotting hooves of the chestnut mare who made her way along the bank of the river, up to her knees in water so as to kick up the cool water onto her underside as she jogged.
She's parted from her Aleo that morning as he went on his usual hunt for fillies. She didn't mind too much, but she always moved about from the place he'd left her to make him find her when he was done. If it were up to her, all his time would be spent with her. But on his quest for the rank of King, she understood the need for a strong herd to show his prosperity.
Slowing, the mare dipped her muzzle to the water to drink. The liquid was satisfying on a hot day like this, and following the stream would make her scent hard to follow for Aleo. She'd never leave him on purpose, she just liked to let him work so she could see that irked, possessive glint to his eye when he caught her up.
The river curved, the bank becoming steep up ahead. Snorting, the chestnut trotted up onto the bank, her clean hooves biting into the soft ground surrounding the water course. She trotted a little further until the river started to bend. Her sharp brown eyes picked up on an irregularity on the far bank. A black mare was sheltering under a tree. Seeing and smelling no stallion, the chestnut stopped on the far bank and shouted across the river. "You better get moving, I saw men down the river." A lie, but not an unbelievable one. The mare had a stocky built, good features, a glossy pelt. Understated - and just what Aleo would want. Best to drive her off before he found her and accepted her into the herd. Fira knew she was a favourite, and she'd never let another mare take that position.

Aleo had travelled far enough along the banks of the creek with his new prize Badu in tow; the little filly was rather cute and chatted to him the whole way, but the further and further he went, the more irritated he got. And it wasn't because of Badu.
Fira had always been one of Aleo's favorites; her attitude had a lot of room for improvement, but she really was one of the prettiest mares he had ever seen. Because of that, he spent most of his time chasing after her when he wasn't trying to expand his herd. And this made for real time-wasting.
Eventually they came around a bend of the creek, and he saw Fira sipping the cool water as she spoke to another filly. A black filly. He stopped and pricked his ears, snorting to try and catch some kind of a scent. Whether he wanted the filly or not, he knew that Fira would make that very hard for him. He decided to rejoin with her before he got any big ideas.
"Fira!" He called, trotting up to her as he tossed his head angrily, "how many times must I say it?!" He stopped and half-reared in front of her. He made sure that Badu kept up with him, but remained behind him in case Fira got a little angry about her presence. "I don't have the time to chase you all over the countryside!"

Badu had happily followed Aleo away from the large lake, still shod hooves clipping against the pebbles and rocks by the series of streams they crossed.
She asked many questions about the area she would now call home. Aleo had grown increasingly irritated and Badu had talked more nervously and constant in hopes to bring his mind from his worries.
Badu was observing some gang gangs flying overhead when Aleo called out and she looked around him excited at the presense of two other mares like herself and nickered at them. These were obviously others of Aleo's band and new friends to her.
