Sia moved aimlessly across the clearing, feeling bored and wired at the same time. Her head twitched occasionally, followed by her dark tail. Her nostrils flared every now and then, breathing in the new, fresh air. It felt so good being away from man. Away from all those disgusting habits and their rope. She flinched as she remembered the burning of pain that followed the smack of the rough, spikey material. Following the flinch was a tremble. Never again.
A twig snapped lightly under her hooves, making her jump into the air with fright. She glanced nervously around her, quickly checking the nearby tree line, she waited anxiously for the sound of a bit, the clear clank of stirrup iron, a faint snort of a tame horse. Her heart raced as she checked, all five of her scents where sent on strain. She took another step forward, gently she placed her hoof in a soft dirt patch, ignoring how ridiculous she probably looked. She started to speed up into a trot when she felt it was safe, wandering around the large space of grassland. She checked the place out, making sure there was no danger from man, before settling down to munch at the grass.
OOC|| Complete. Sorry its really bad! If i didn't end it there i probably would never have gotten it done xD Open to anyone and everyone

From downwind on the Bogong, a white stallion jogged over the tussocky grass, head and tail held proudly. He’d had a lot of trouble with colts recently, his eligible daughters were of age to be stolen away, but none had as of yet succeeded. The smell of a mare on the wind however had been a welcome change and leaving his mares on the lower half of the Bogong to graze, he thought he might investigate another mare.
After the man’s run, he had lost a few of his mares, and though his herd was still quite an impressive size, Nevada was becoming an impulsive collector of mares. He couldn’t help himself. He tested the air again; making sure this mare was alone. It didn’t matter if she wasn’t, another stallion on his Bogong was sure to get a thrashing. Confirming there was just the one mare, he crested a little rise and there she was. Excited, Nevada lifted his head and bellowed a greeting. She was chestnut, a little dull for his tastes, but he supposed he did not have a mare of her colour yet so he would be happy to take her.
He should have noticed how nervous she was, but he carried on regardless, tossing his head, long mane flying as he tried to entice her over. The stallion nickered encouragingly, making it quite obvious of his intentions. He was not an overly aggressive stallion, and he kept his distance for the moment. Half of the thrill was the challenge; a less willing mare provided more satisfaction once he managed to win their trust. “Hello there, I am Nevada, may I approach?” He asked, dark eyes brimming with interest. He was entirely focussed on her, ears straining, nostrils flaring as he scented her and body straining with the effort to keep his distance.

A soft breeze caressed Sia's body, like a massage, it relaxed her a little. She hoped that she would be able to smell an intruder before she saw one. Her lips curled around a small handfull of the tough grass, her teeth tearing it away from the earth. She lifted her head to look over the clearing occasionally, making sure there was no one about before taking another mouthful. What had she been worrying about? There was no man apon these great mountains...well not around here anyway. She snorted quietly to herself when she thought about her silliness before. Her chestnut coat glowed under the sun. Her thick fur was tossiled by another onslaught of air. For not being groomed in a while, her rich chestnut still looked quite neat, apart from the big cloudy dust that covered her back and rump. Her three white stockings where slightly stained, but that would come off when she went for a swim later...she suddenly wondered how well her thick blaze was fairing, without the soft brushings in the morning her face was probably covered in little white hairs. Oh well, atleast no one was around to see her at her worst. She amused herself, tossing her forelock out of her deep brown orbs. Just as she did that a strange, bellow came from behind. She gulped down a big mouthful of air, tensing as she turned. Had she been wrong about the men? Maybe they had came for her after all. She quickerly searched the clearing, her brown eyes filled with fear and she could feel her imagination running on high. A few times she thought she'd heard, or seen imaginary men on horses, galloping through the distant trees..
Then her eyes fell apon a white angel. He seemed to glow under the sun's light. She felt her eyes widen and her mouth fall open. Oh dear, she wasn't dead now was she? She quickerly looked herself over. No. She was still alive. Then who was this mysterious stranger? Sia seemed to have forgotten her manners, not that she'd ever had many. She frowned, looking away, embarressed, she probably looked like a scruffy wombat. Then, as if he was answering her thoughts he told her his name. Nevada. Oh how that name seemed to suit him well. She watched as he approached, then stopped, why was he stopping? Did she look like the yowee(sp?) or big foot or something. She shut her mouth as she realised it had been opened for a little too long now. Suddenly she forgot to speak, she wanted to say, "Yes you may." But perhaps her brain had disconnected itself her voice box, she managed to stutter out, "Nn-.." She frowned, then tried again, "Y-es." She sighed, well so much for first impressions. Nevada probably thought she was going crazy. Then again she may have been.

Nevada felt suitably smug at her reaction to him. She stared, and looking mildly frightened but she had not run, so something about him was keeping her there. He bobbed his head, mane cascading like a waterfall. She seemed undecided about whether to let him closer. That was understandable; he was quite imposing, especially when he was excitable. He made an effort to calm a little, lowering his head. For a moment he thought she might reject him, and then she stuttered an affirmative.
He managed not to approach too fast, and he reached out his muzzle to touch her wither. The closer he got, the scruffier she appeared. A charity case then? He huffed, rubbing his nose on her shoulder to dislodge a patch of loose hair. She needed a good roll. Was she so nervous that she hadn’t felt safe enough to even do that? The fact she had not been groomed in a while confirmed she had no herd, so Nevada felt confident as he sidled a little closer.
“Tell me your name.” It was a command, but a soft one. The stallion thought she might respond well to a more direct approach. He reached out his muzzle to hers, allowing her to close the rest of the distance. She was nervous, but Nevada could never resist a mare in any state. He was fairly sure he could be patient enough to win her trust.

Kaie watched the scene from the edge of the clearing. The young stallion had no herd, not yet, at least, and any mare he could get would be a start. He trotted over, tossing his dark mane, his handsome bay coat rippling. Trotting up to the other stallion and the mare, he heard Nevanda's neigh, "Tell me your name." Kaie snorted in disgust. Couldn't the blockhead see that this mare was in a bad state. Typical, he thought. He doesn't care how she feels, he just wants her for his herd!
"Greetings, O mare," he nickered gently, throwing a dirty sideways glance at Nevanda. This mare needed to be calmed, not rushed. And you're so sure of yourself, are you? came a scathing voice in his head. Kaie ignored it, watching the mare intently.
OOC: Short. Hope you two don't mind me joining you?

OOC|| not at all
Sia siddled away slightly as Nevada moved closer, her ears flickering back in a warning glance. Even though the rubbing of his nose felt good on her withers, Sia hated feeling vunerable when around others. She was independent. And had been for a long time, maybe he had noticed that. She relaxed a little when she was out of reach of him. She stared into his eyes for a moment, her heart fluttering as she resgistered his beauty. Shaking the dislodged chunk of hair from her shoulder, Sia reached her nose to gently bump his. Though she stayed where she was, reaching out through her neck. She needed her space, and wasn't good when others came barging into that invisible bubble that surrounded her. Her ears went back again when he commanded for her name. Typical. Stallions and their 'superior' minds. She rolled her eyes, and was about to speak when a snort made her jump sideways. Her head whipped around to find another stallion standing before her. What was this? Sia was beautiful, but at the moment it seemed her dirty, puffy sides attracted stallions from affar.
She nodded in greeting, "Greetings O stallion." She said almost sarcastically, but the sarcasticness was held back. She was begining to feel like her normal, almost arrogant self come back. Her eyes darted between the two studs. A smile forming over her lips, though to them it would have seemed polite, it actually held something else. Pleasure perhaps? Whatever it was it seemed to drill right through her bloodstream. She tossed her head, moving her long dark forelock out of her eyes. She stared at the bay, "I am Sia." She shot Nevada a quick look. All her nerves seemed to disappear. No man would get her if these two stallions were about.

Kaie nodded courteously. "It's good to meet you, Sia. I'm Kaie. May I ask what your name means?" he nickered.

Nevada was accustomed to shy mares, but none quite so timid. A little perturbed, Nevada hung back. The apparition of another stallion made him snort with displeasure. Most knew better than to set foot on the Bogong, it was his territory. Nevada warned the bay with a grunt. “You’re a bold one; this is my Bogong, you’ll do well to remember that.” He glanced at the chestnut and tossed his head.
It seemed she was more interested in the bay, and Nevada wasn't sure he wanted to expend the effort for one mare that could not make up her mind. Frustrated that another stallion seemed to be getting more attention than him, he thought it best to leave before he was fully disgraced. “Well, Sia, you are welcome to graze my Bogong but if Kaie here knows what’s good for him, he’ll go elsewhere.” The grey stallion glared over at the bay. “Keep away from my herd, trespasser, and there will be no trouble.” Flicking his tail, Nevada turned from the pair and loped back down the grassy scrub, leaving the two in peace. OOC: Eek, sorry guys. Better split before the timelines get mucked up! <3

Kaie almost reared up with the fury and contempt he felt rising within him. "So you won't even try to fight for her?" he nickered loudly, his neigh bold and mocking. "If you really wanted me off your land you would fight me!" he roared at the other stallion.

Sia nodded quietly as the white stallion seemed to quite intimidated by the fact that another stallion was here. Sia looked over at Kaie, "I do not quite know what Sia means, it was a name given to me by a human." She snorted, feeling a bit disgusted by that fact. She turned to hear the white stallion, Nevada warn the youth. “You’re a bold one; this is my Bogong, you’ll do well to remember that.” She rolled her eyes, typical stallions. Then Nevada turned to her, speaking much more sincere words than the ones he'd used for Kaie. “Well, Sia, you are welcome to graze my Bogong but if Kaie here knows what’s good for him, he’ll go elsewhere.” Sia smirked, nodding, "Thank you." Then he turned to go, throwing another word of warning in the direction of the bay, “Keep away from my herd, trespasser, and there will be no trouble.” With that he left. Sia turned to Kaie, rolling her eyes as he beckoned for the great white to fight him.
She strode over to him and nipped him sharply on the shoulder, "Hush now." She shushed him before continuing, "If you know whats best for you Kaie, you'd take Nevada's word of warning." She glared at him, daring him to argue with her, "Now, you've got me for now, that should be enough." She started to walk away, "Come on you idiot, unless you really want to be beat up by the big bad stallion. I'm sure it would be incredibly amusing to watch." She paused, looking over her shoulder. She didn't want to be out in the open for long anyway. There was still danger from man when she stayed in one place for too long. For that moment she felt like a horse that had roamed the country side all of her life, being wise. Though that was the problem, she wasn't that sort of horse, so she had little idea of where to go from here.
