OOC: So I am assuming that Ballie and I are going to get this fight over and done with so we can start on the after plot yes?
In that moment of distraction; the bllod bay chose to come at him. Although Jirrand did not seehim coming, he heard the thundering of his hooves but there was no time to react. He had tried to leap out of harms way; only to be bearelled over by the heavier stallion.
He went crashing to the ground, and as he fell he let out one last desperate cry to Tallerk; telling her to run. The impact with the ground was unusually painful and jarring; and pain erupted somewhere near his forehead. His last before his vision faded into darkness was that he had to save Tallerk... had to get her away from the blood bay....
OOC: (Jirrand got knocked out, ok peepz? He is such a malodramatic idiot... and I luv him XD)

OOC: lolz! And Ballie, go ahead and round up Tallerk- she won't be trouble.
Horror crept upon Tallerk's face as she saw the stallion's ruddy blur plow right into Jirrand. Her heart skipped a beat as he lost control and made impact with the earth, letting loose a frantic and anguished cry, one that tore her heart to pieces- all over again. For a moment the brown mare's legs sagged, seeming to lose their strength. Her nostrils trembled with indecision and fear; what would happen to her mate? Would the bay kill him? Was he already dead? Then a more shocking realization caused her to shake. She was the bay's property now. "No!" It came out as a terrified whisper.
Now, as Tallerk looked upon Jirrand's deathly still figure, she remembered something: he had told her to run. Unable to cope with the situation any longer, Tallerk sprang from her hiding place, tearing wildly across the flat at a hard gallop. Her muscles strained to the utmost, her legs thrusting her forward with strength made possible by fear. Fearful eyes, rimmed with white, saw nothing but a blur of grass, and flattened ears heard only her sobbing breaths, and the dreadful pounding of hooves; her own, but in her rush she imagined hammering beat as that of the bay stallion.
Only too late did Tallerk realized that she had left the cover of the shadowed scrub, and had openly revealed herself upon the score of grass. Distracted by the fatal mistake, Tallerk didn't notice the animal burrow up ahead. Her foreleg sunk into it, being wrenched painfully by the dreadful speed the rest of her was going. Tallerk tore it free, but the whole ordeal caused a bad stumble. The foreleg had been strained, its muscles sore from the jerking it had sustained, and all the high-speed running, combined with overwhelming emotions, made it so the brown mare faltered in exhaustion.
I hate life, she thought wretchedly.

OOC: Kaie's gonna be nice. He just wanted to protect Sia. But he will get Tallerk, don't worry!
BIC: Kaie sniffed his floored aversary; the strange, pale stallion was out cold. The blood bay let out a small squeal of surprise as he noticed Jirrad's strange eyes. That's the main reason he lost, he thought, feeling guilty. Then he remembered that he had heard the other stallion calling out to a filly. Sniffing the air with a quivering nose, he caught Tallerk's scent. "Wait here," he neighed to Sia, then took off after the other mare.
He almost tripped over her; screeching to a halt, he padded forward. "Come with me," he nickered gently. He patiently awaited her reply, surveying her with kind brown eyes.

OOC|| Ballie, Tallerk has to go with Kaie, cause its part of a plot.
Sia watched in shock as the pale stallion fell to the ground in a heap. She glanced at Kaie, blinking. She slowly walked over, her body trembling with each step. What had happened to him? She closed the gap between herself and the pale one, her nose slowly stretched out. Her heart was racing away in her chest as she imagined the stallion waking up while she was there. She gently nosed him, feeling aweful that she had been the one to do this to him. "Sorry." She whispered.
Just then the strangled cry errupted from the trees, and Sia for that moment thought that it had been the unconcious stallion waking up. She jumped back in alarm and looked up when something brown burst from the trees and streaked across the field. She caught her breath as she realised that it must have been a mare of the stallion. Ignoring Kaie's wishes, she followed the other at a trot, as not to startle the mare more. Her ears pricked forward, only to be pulled back in a moment of terror as the mare stumbled into a hidden animal burrow. Sia squealed, and bolted after the mare. She skidded to a halt beside her just as Kaie arrived.
Sia, being who she was, flattened her ears at Kaie, "Go away, let me handle this." She insisted, baring her teeth at him for a moment before turning back to the trembling mare. "Hey, darling, its ok." She mumured this a few times, deep down knowing that it really wasn't. It was obvious that this mare moarned for the pale stallion. And whether he was dead or alive, Sia had not worked that one out just yet. "I am Sia, by the way." She looked the brown mare in the eye, her own brown ones filled with worry and concern. "Are you ok? That looked pretty nasty." She let her eyes trail down the mares leg.
