Out of no where Prisma burst through the pack of other colts. He whinnied in delight from his suprise attack, rearing and trying to look better than all the others. He bucked and mocked the others playfully in an attempt to start a play fight.

lol. I love the foals -------------------------- IC: Baree spun around when he heard Cobalt leap on the rock and squeal. Playing, he answered with a high pitched whinny of his own that shook his entire body with the force he put into it to try and make himself sound like a stallion. Not to be weighed down by his unimpressive call, he tossed his head and then charged at Prisma, nipping the spotted colt swifly on the neck then prancing away and rearing up, inviting the colt to a mock battle.

Cobalt became even more excited by his half-brother's appearance. One more squeal and he ganged up against Prisma with Baree. Baree was also his brother at heart, perhaps not blood though. Looking around for Burnum, he hoped that the red roan would join forces with Prisma, so then a big mock fight could begin. Two on two sounded like fun.

Burnum was there in a flash, bunting sides with his spotty mate as a show of comraderie, then made a dive at rearing nump at Baree that was doomed to be dodged.

Baree stepped to the side so that Burnum dived just to the side of him, then whirled around and grabbed the other colt's neck and tried to shake him a little. However, after a few seconds his jaws began to ache and he felt his teeth slipping in Burnum's mane, so he let go and made as though he had meant to just nip the colt. Bucking in excitement, he then dashed at Prisma, aiming at nip at the spotted colt's shoulder.

Cobalt's eyes flashed as they caught the sun. He let out a kiddish squeal and let his hind legs fly in a buck. He wanted a challenger to appear, another fight to begin. Letting his hind down, this time his front rose and his thin front legs wiggled from the front of the black foal. Another cry was let out, hoping he could catch Burnum's attention.

Eeek! Someone had grabbed him! Burnum tried to whirl around to detatch himself with little luck until he bucked and Baree's teeth suddenly detatched from his mane. He had no idea if it was his prowess or the fact foals have a lack of powerful jaw muscles that did it, but he was quite happy to take the credit.
Once he was free he risked a moment to shake his head as though to free himself of the memory, then jumped around and tried to return the favour.

Prisma launched himself at Cobalt and then Baree in what seemed like an effort to protect Burnum. It was all done in play but there was an underlying loyalty Prisma had to the other rusty coloured colt. Once again he reared playfully at the two others attempting to strike out at the closest one, who was Cobalt.

Tingara's call rung out over the valley and Caryola perked up her ears. Replying witha shrill whinny of her own, Crayola ambled over to the side of the valley on which Tingara stood.
Stretching and yawning after uneventful guard dog stint, Ammi got to her paws and barked at the playing foals. She's smelt Tingara on the wind long before his call. Dipping her chest to the ground, rump wigging in the air, Ammi yapped once and raced off up the field, goading them to chase her. The mares would follow in their own time but the foals seemed so engrossed in their game that they'd never listen unless she lowered herself to playing with them. If you can't beat 'em, join 'em.

Baree played happily with the other colts and was not too worried when Tingara's call rang out, although he did attempt to answer him respectfully with own of his own (admittedly pathetic) whinnies. Then the dingo yapped at them, inviting them to play. Gleefully, he charged up the hill after the small dog, bucking and cavorting as he went.
