Coorah's head flew up at her stallion's cry, and she quickly gathered up the foals and nipped Irwaddy gently to tell her to move quickly. They must get away before the other stallion reaches them!
The steel grey horse arched his neck and danced from the trees, knowing that his cover was blown. A dark mane and tail sprayed everywhere, and his hooves flashed. Well, he had been walking through streams to get here without a scent! Coorain's eyes flashed at the other stallion, and he didn't bother with words. A wild stallion shriek felt better. Such a call screamed from his mouth, and the steel stallion stopped dancing to stand still and conserve his energy.
OOC- I'm not sure >.< but my stallion's stat is 5.

OOC: How old are Coorain and Nandalie? I'll work out the stats for ya then roll to see who wins. Once that's decided, you two can go ahead and role-play the fight =)

Irawaddy too had moved closer to the foals as Nandalie screamed his challenge. Quickly, she and Coorah began to herd the two young ones towards the opposite side of the clearing. While unfortunately the new stallion had already seen them, at least they may have a chance at getting away from the fight and causing Nandalie less distraction.

Ooc: Uh oh....Nandalie is 3.... Bic:
Nandalie's saw his mares leaving with the foals. Atleast they were safe, for now anyway. He turned his attention back to the grey stallion, realising that he was older than himself. He snorted and pawed at the ground, letting out a roar to meet his opponent's. He hadn't left the shelter of the trees, but Nandalie wasn't foolish enough to fetch him. No, he was going to wait.

Coorah pushed at her foal to make it go faster, and began to trot. Her foal was being stubborn though, so all of them could only go at a fast walk. This made her grumpy, and she bit her foal on the rump. Ally whinnied indignantly, and walked a bit faster. The mother mare sighed. Foals!
The steel stallion thundered another roar, and began to trot teasingly after the mares, making sure he was still in the trees. The other stallion would have to fight him there, and it was starting to rain. Coorain whinnied at the rain clouds, and the rain poured harder, making his coat very hard to see. Ever wonder why he's called Coorain?

OOC: Okay, well Coorain has 5, and Nandalie has 4. Coorain has the numbers 1-5, Nandalie has 6-9. Rolling a nine-sided dice, and the outcome is:
8! Nandalie wins!
After the fight, Nandalie will have 6 points, and Coorain will also have 6. For a few threads after the fight, Nandalie will have a -1 and Coorain will have a -3 (cause they'll be tired from the fight). Remember, Coorain will be more damaged than Nandalie after the fight, so make sure he takes more hits =)

Ooc: Nandalie will take some hits too, right? Lol I've never done this before! Its a bit confusing Bic:
Now he was angry. The stallion dared to tease him, pretending to go after his mares?! Nandalie barely noticed the rain getting heavier, unfortunately for him making his coat stand out and the grey's fade away. He moved up into the trees and charged towards his opponent's right flank, his head down and aimed to hit the centre.

Coorah and Irwaddy were now out of sight, no thanks to their stubborn foals. (OOC- i.e. safe they will not post in this thread ^^ koiji, let's say they go to a different place? Have anywhere in mind?)
The steel grey was so intent on following the mares, he didn't doge until a second after the hit, and was struck squarely on the aimed spot. Coorain snorted in surprise, and whirled to run. The other horse would think he had run away, but he was only circling to attack. The rain helped, but this was his first battle. He did not realize his excitement was making more noise than a whole herd of horses. So his sudden charge on the other horse, rearing and striking, wasn't going to work too well.
