Ooc: Err, Koiji?
Nandalie snorted with pleasure as he hit the stallion. As he began to run, Nandalie reared up and roared. The coward dared to run? His coat blazing, he dashed towards him, and didn't realise what was happening until it was too late and he took hits to his face.
He took a few steps back and shook his head in a daze. Those front legs had given him quite a beating. But he calmed himself and remembered not to waste his energy on anger. By now the steel grey had almost vanished in the rain, but Nandalie could hear him. Striking the ground with his hoof, he charged again, this time heading for the grey's chest.

The steel grey squealed at the dull thud on his chest, and snaked his head down to bite at the other horse's withers. His teeth could not get in range, so he settled for biting at the ears and base of the skull. He was winded, and couldn't move too fast, but the other horse was as inexperienced as he was, so it was sort of fair.

Nandalie dodged the attack by a millimetre. It was a lucky escape, but he was still fairly shaken from the bashing to his head. His opponent had taken more hit's then he had, but he was also older and stronger. The grey most likely had more stamina too. But that wasn't going to make Nandalie give up. No, he was too proud and headstrong now.
This time he was going to wait for the attack. He stood, a few metres away from his nemesis. His head was forward as he panted for air, but he still kept alert.

The steel stallion gnashed his teeth in frustration, and reared up to leap, using his back legs to propel, straight at the other horse's head. He was tiring, yes, but this horse wanted to do some damage before even thinking of running away.

Nandalie let out a cry as the grey's hooves hit his aching head. Dammit, he'd given away his weakness. That first blow had been bad enough, but now there was a gash on his cheek, just under his left eye. That was gonna scar him.
Stepping back again, he caught his breath and charged towards the enemy before halting suddenly and bringing his flailing legs up to his side, hoping to get a few strikes where he had gotten him before.

Coorain whinnied in triumph at the gash he had caused, and was too busy congratulating himself on a small victory to notice the other horse retaliating. It suddenly popped out at him, like a snake that has been reared up for some time. He jerked back, now really sore, and a few hole in his flesh. They were hoof-shaped holes too, which was interesting. But instead of making himself a prime target, the steel stallion feinted upwards, then dove downwards to cut at the other horse's belly.

Nandalie was also too busy doing something to notice his opponent's attack. The hooves drove into his back, slicing painfully but not too deeply. He cried out in pain and ducked out of the grip, stepping backwards into his pain state again, panting for air. His mane was flopped out everywhere, messed up in his fury. He looked like a blood-covered devil for a moment, his face showing only fury and his pale red coat now darkened. His wounds oosed his life-keeping blood, but he wasn't ready to surrender.
He wasn't going to give up his herd he'd wanted for a long time to this monster. Angry and wanting revenge, he charged with his teeth bared, trying to hit him square in the side where he'd hit is opponent once or twice before. Nandalie was indeed in pain, but it didn't worry him. He strived to keep Coorah, Allira, Irawaddy and Omaroo with him as his herd.

Coorain was starting to have enough. He had already figured out this was not the time to win the mares, and he knew to back off soon would be a good idea. It was all a question of when. Another hit on an already bruising spot decided him, and Coorain somehow vanished instantly, like a ghost in the pouring rain. This was because his coat blended perfectly with the rain and the darker surroundings, steel grey. This stallion isn't finished with you yet. He will come back.

Nandalie collapsed in a heap as the stallion left. He was so tired, and still full of fury. He wanted to call out and challenge him again, but he knew that he too was badly injured. No, for now he would heal, and eventualy the grey would come back. By then he'd be stronger though, and that worried Nandalie.
Slowly he rose to his hooves and shook his sore head. He wanted to look for Coorah and Irawaddy, but he had no idea where to go. He depsirately wanted to rest, and perhaps call for them there. He didn't want to move around to much in fear of loosing too much blood that poured from his gaping wounds. He decided that he'd go and rest at Mt Kosciusko for now.
