Ooc: Sorry for missing >.< I didn't notice that there were 2 pages! Bic:
Althea leered out forwards to Maluka and gave him a kick with her front legs, a warning to back off. "Go flirt with your buddy, we're not looking for a herd," she snapped, baring her teeth and pulling her lips back at both Garrong and Maluka. Protectively, she stepped in front of Yaruka. She was being teased by these childish stallions. Anymore and she would start acting on biting these cruel bullies.
Turning around to face Koiji and Yaruka, she whispered, "Shall we run, or stand our ground?" she asked, knowing it would look weak to run, but perhaps better for Yaruka's sake.

Maluka saw Althea's 'attack' coming and daintily stepped out of the way, her hooves only just brushing his fetlocks. He shook out his black mane and began circling again. He nipped the little one extra hard on his last circle and settled back facing all three of the mares. Maluka began to get bored of the mares and rolled his eyes. "He is a handsome one isn't he," Maluka motioned to wards Garrong at Koiji's remark, "but I don't swing that way." He laughed and flicked his tail at the Spring flies. "Such lively conversation," Maluka starred intensely into Althea's eyes. He starred and smiled a sleazy smile. He was annoyed but he wasn't going to let it show. These mares just weren't getting his painfully obvious message.

Noticing that Althea had gone for a denfensive stance, Koiji followed. Moving closer to the young filly and baring her teeth at the two stallions who still introduced themselves. This annoyed Koiji, she liked to know the name's of the creatures that she was addressing, to save calling them 'you' or names that technically meant that she was clueless to what they were called. Glaring at the stallions, she was practically growling, if horses could actually do that. "Shall we run, or stand our ground?" Althea's voice asked. Knowing that it would look childish to the stallions to run, but standing about could cause problems to them later on.... "Maybe," she started, her mind not knowing properly. "But would we get away?" They were only mares, the speed they could run was not quite as fast as the tow stallions, and one was big... Looking around carefully, she tryied to find a way out of the suituation that she found herself now in. (OOC;; Bleh, bit of a crummy post, sorry I was in school )

OOC: AHH! my internet wasn't working properly! while I love to come back and read tons of posts I need to catch up oO btw Vala- I love your new siggie ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Yaruka watched as the grey stallion continued to stare at herself and the other two mares. Wouldn't you lovely mares like to come with me and my new friend here?" he asked. Yaruka began to sweat again. He's just teasing...he's just teasing. she tried to tell herself but began to quake a little. Arrogantly, the grey began to circle the little group of mares, and it seemed to Yaruka that he lingered next to her the longest. He knows I'm scared she thought and stiffened. Breathe she told herself. She flinched as he nipped her on her hindquarters. Pinning her ears she shuddered involuntarily, feeling her entire body begin to tense up. Just then, Althea stepped in front of her and Yaruka's ears flew forward momentarily at this surprising act of loyalty. Koiji also moved closer and Yaruka was glad to be with friends. "Shall we run, or stand our ground" asked Althea. Yaruka didn't know. The grey began pacing around them again, and this time when he nipped her it hurt. Without really thinking, Yaruka kicked out with her hindfeet, not making contact with the grey's sides but coming awful close. It was a warning, the stallion was getting downright inappropriate. The grey completed his circle then turned to face them once more- talking to Althea. Yaruka began to dance nervously again, considering running. She was fast, and she didn't think the stallion's would follow. She was more concerned about being corned than having to get away in a chase. Yet, if the stallion's did decide to follow, she was only a yearling. She was no where near her full strength yet and still not fully built to outrun two mature stallions. She rolled her eyes nervously and tossed her head in indecision. Running would give these stallions what they wanted, but she was coming very close to fleeing.

OOC: here comes DRAMA.....not that we don't already have it lol. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Barina was excited. She had left her sire's herd and was now on her own in new country, ready to start a new life. Not that her old one had been a bad one. She had played with the other young horses in her herd and had been well loved and looked after by the adults. Almost too well cared for infact. She had been constantly fussed over and sheltered by most of the seniors who had feared she would lose her freedom to men. Pfft, men she thought, tossing her head. If she was caught by a man, well then she'd get away. They weren't as bad as some horses made them out to be, surely. Cantering on through the forest, she felt light and happy. It was spring and the fresh air tingled in her lungs, urging her to gallop. Lengthening her stride, she raced through the trees, nimbly weaving in and out of the trunks. Flicking her tail happily, she eventually slowed to a brisk canter, letting her hooves dance lightly on the springy snow grass. Dusty rays of light seeped in through the branches of the trees and turned her coat to molten silver and gold. Playing in the weak light she reared and cavorted, reveling in her freedom. Suddenly she stopped and threw her head in the air, her nostrils flaring wildly. She could smell other horses. Arching her neck proudly she shook her silky mane and reflected. She hadn't expected to run into other horses so soon, but after all she had come here to meet new horses and join a herd, she might as well start introducing herself now. She trotted out again until she reached a clearing. She had had a sheltered life growing up, and so was not quite aware of many of the wild horse customs that pervaded the culture over here. Knowing little, but trying to be polite, she nickered softly then stepped out of the trees into the circle. She stopped quite suddenly when she saw the nervous group of mares and the large stallions. She flicked her tail with unease, in her excitement she had forgotton to be careful, and she hoped now that she had not gotton herself into a dangerous situation. Extending her neck she tried to touch noses gently with the closest, a large black stallion.... OOC: lol, sorry-couldn't resist that last part. She's full of spring fever, young(not stupid, lol), in the prescense of stallions other than her sire for the first time and not thinking....uh oh.

Ooc: I'm ganna bring Nadalie in later. Im changing his profile so he is a bit younger. Maybe Barina would like him? Btw thanks Yaruka, lol Bic:
Althea was surprized when Maluka got out of the way of her attack. <i>Just like damon,</i> she thought, tossing her mane to get rid of the spring flies. She whinnied and reared up, wanting to strike again. <i>"Such lively conversation,"</i> he had added, which made her more angry. They wanted them to run, but why? Why didn't they want 2 fillys and a mare to add to their herds? It was strange.
"Why do you come here, tease us, and don't want more of a herd?!" she snapped. Maybe the black was the one that the gang-gangs spoke of, the killer of the silver breed. She didn't hate silvers, she had nothign against them, and killing them- that was vile. What was the grey's problem?
She looked back at Koiji again, "We should stant our ground, see exacly what they want. Maybe another stallion will come and push these fools away," she spat, glaring back at Maluka while talking. Her impatience and anger was making her sweat continuously, beads running down her neck and turning her buckskin coat darker. Not much longer and she would be exausted.

OOC:np Vala not much to add to the rp....
IC: Yaruka could sense Althea's tension and indecision. She felt it herself. Did they run and risk being chased and losing their pride? Or did they stand and face the strange stallions? If they stayed, were they only putting themselves in more danger? If Althea was sweating from the uncomfortable situation, it was nothing compared to how Yaruka was doing. The sweat on her coat from before had dried, making her hair stick up oddly in some places and her skin feel stiff and itchy. New sweat dripped down her neck and withers and she had a dark sheen around her eyes and muzzle. Her nostrils were still dilated and she felt tense and worried. She knew she was rapidly losing condition, and the other mares too. What if it came to running after they stood their ground? Would they have enough energy left to escape?

Garrong had been too distracted playing voyeur to even notice that Barina was coming, and by the looks of it, neither had anyone else. Quite a feat considering she was the single brightest out of all of them. Therefore, when something warm and velvety suddenly bumped his nose his first reaction was shocked surprise.
The black reared and lurched away, the whites of his eyes clearly showing as he spun his head around so see who had just appeared. The second he saw silver, his ears snapped backwards like a thrown knife and Garrong was already starting to advance with his head down and teeth bared before sense caught up with him.
It was a filly, younger than even he was, and to think she meant any harm was really quite foolish. She was nice too judging by her friendly greeting, but he still didn’t want her around. Colts were the problem, not the fillies, but even though fillies couldn’t kill or steal other mares, they still brought men. This one was no exemption, even if she was pretty even by silver standards.
He stopped himself, but didn’t drop the angry lowered head stance. Maybe she'd get the hint faster than the other three were with Maluka. ”What do you want?” he snarled agressively.

Maluka snorted, the mares were beginning to get on his nerves. He really didn't want to reveal his reasons for driving the mares away. He didn't want word of himself getting back to Tingara, who now undoubtedly had the entire bush as his eyes. Maluka noticed Garrong get uptight and nasty towards a new silver filly. He stepped in between them. "Easy my friend, this pretty little filly means you no harm," he said, eying off the filly. Maluka had decided he wouldn't come back for the mares behind him, but he did like pretty shiny things and this filly was indeed both pretty and shiny. He settled himself between Garrong and the filly and turned back to Althea's group. "The reasons I'm not really interested in such boring mares like you lot are numerous. Many of which I ain't gonna share with you," Maluka shot at her.

(OOC;; Whoops, Koiji's got a lot to catch up on again. Right, I will have a responce for y'all when I get home ^.^ I can't think of anything good in school at the moment >D Hold the thread, koiji will be back lol *vanishes under cloud of smoke* >D
A couple of hours later she is back and editing her post ^.^
Bic;;
Koiji was trying her best to show the stallions that she wasn't nervous. Her ears flickered back and foward trying to pick up any on coming sound. There wasn't anything that sounded like it could help them, but to be fair, if another stallion turned up, what would happen then? Koiji noticed that she hadn't sweated as much as Althea and Yaruka, but what had shedded it's way out of her coat was drying on the fresh breeze that was floating across the mountains.
Koiji pricked her ears at the sound of another horse, noticing Barina appraoching, she wanted to whinnie in warning to the oncoming brumby. She didn't want this difficult suitation for anyone else. "We should stand our ground, see exacly what they want. Maybe another stallion will come and push these fools away," Althea suggested. Koiji nodded in agreement, as she noticed something silver flash in the trees....
The talk around her continued, but Koiji was far too concerned about the newcomer in the trees. She looked as if she was in a trance, and as the silver filly made her appenrance, she whinnied in shock. If this giant black was the silver horse killer, then this filly was in deep-diddley-doo-doo... She seemed friendly anough, as she touched noses with the black stallion who had stood contently watching the coversation and Maluka 'flirting with the fillies'. Pathetic She thought, what was it with some stallions? Really??
It was after that that things got a bit scary. Garrong looked shocked at first and then he reared and struck out at the filly. Koiji looked in horror as it looked like he was going to strike her down, she whinnied loudly and angrily too. It was Maluka who calmed him down again. Koiji glared at them both. "Your the silver horse killer aren't you?" She snarled at Garrong, her lips peeled back far from her mouth. "Garrong." She spat out the name. "And you!" She turned back to the grey. "I'm still not sure exactly sure who you are! You horrible, cocky..." She trailed off, what was the use in upsetting the two of them. Garrong's eyes were flaming at the filly that had just arrived, and an angry Maluka, well lets not go into that....
"Should we tell that filly to run?" she whispered to Althea, looking again to the trees as if she was daydreaming. She looked at Yaruka, who seemed more nervous than ever. "You okay kid?" She asked kindly. Yaruka was still shaking like a leaf.
OOC;; okay, sorry for the really long post >_<
