How the mares had gotton themselves into this sutuation, Koiji'll never know. Why? She thought. Why was it always her and her friends? While she waited for a responce from Althea or Yaruka, she was dimly aware of what Garrong was doing. He seemed to have taken in her litte out burst with some consideration, and seemed to be thinking something over in his head. Maluka on the other hand had turned his attentions to the Silver Filly that had popped up. Koiji listened to the sounds that were getting carried on the wind. She could've sworn that she had heard the footsteps of another horse. It was like they were at a family reniounion or something. How many creatures knew that they were at the top of Mt Kosciusko??
A red roan appeared in the trees, and Koiji looked on in disbelief. What had possesed her to whinny?
It took her a while to realise that Garrong, as being a Silver Horse killer had made a strike at the poor little filly. She reared and shied away from him, but it still looked like he'd caught her. Koiji snorted in horror. Who would do something like that?? "Come on Koiji" Althea's voice brought the black mare back from her trance, her friends were leaving her. "Okay." She nickered to them, trotting down the hill. Yaruka broke into a gallop after a few seconds, and then whinning thier names, she was off, running completely blind in a haze of fear.
"Yaruka!" She yelled as gently as she could. "Be careful!" She didn't know what was running through the flly's mind, but judging by the way she was running, she was as panic-stricken as heck. Koiji broke into a gallop to try to catch the filly, before she got too far away to find again... "We've got to get to her!" She said to Althea, her blue eyes flashing concern. She heard the footfalls of the other brumby, but her motherly instincts for Yaruka were running as wid as the filly herself. She didn't look back as she galloped after her friend, hoping it wasn't too late...

Althea nodded and was about to start leaping down the rocks when she stopped with a hoof poised in mid air. Behind her stood the handsome red roan stallion, who seemed ok from her point of view. He didn't kill fillys, or tease mares, or gang up. He was a normal wandering stallion. She looked around at him as Koiji started to disapear from sight. "Who are you, young stallion?" she asked, choosing her words wisely.
Nadalie didn't mind that the young chestnut filly has decided that he too was dangerous and taken off. The little, dark filly had fallowed her to, but he had stopped the eldest in her tracks. Probably because of his radiating glow in the sunlight. "Go after you're friend, I mean you no harm," he said, quietly. The buckskin mare with the strange, dun markings took a while to understand this, but then she nodded and whinnied to Koiji as she galloped into the bushland, leaving the red stallion to walk away somewhere else.
Ooc: End of thread for me?

Maluka reared and snorted in fear for the mare. "Garrong no," he threw himself between the black stallion and the filly. "Do you want yourself to be labeled 'helpless filly killer'? She has done nothing wrong, it is the colts and stallions that are the ones that would wrong you," he wanted Garrong on his side as a stallion killer, not a filly killer. To harm a filly was wrong, even Maluka knew that.
Ooc: sorry for the short post, it is midnight XD

Koiji noticed that Althea had stopped, her heart torn, to go with the frightned filly and get her to safety, or to stay with her friend to make sure this stallion wasn't another bucking bronko like the last few they'd met. "Althea!" She whinnied unsure of what to do. She spotted the red stallion and her friend talking and cantered back. "Althea, we need to get Yaruka back. The nice stallion can follow if he pleases." She said grinning briefly at him, he was quite pretty in colour and his manner of what she had heard of it seemed to be one of a proper gentle horse. What harm could he do to them? He reminded her of Ryu for a moment, and she looked at the ground.
When she lifted her head, she shook her mane gently, and said. "Do you want to stay here and I can try to find the filly?" Yaruka had reached the point of disapperaing out of Koiji's vision, and she was anxious for the safety of her youngest friend. What if's filled her head as she turned to Althea and the red stallion.
OCC;; Bye Bye Koiji? ^.^

Yaruka galloped haphazardly through the trees, her mind filled with panic. When she heard an extra set of hoofbeats behind her, her heart skipped a beat and she lengthened her stride, flying across the ground. She was too nervous to scent the air and figure out that it was Koiji who chased her.

Garrong was just in the midst of a second attempt when Maluka suddenly appeared between them again and he almost had to lurch backwards so as not to hit the other stallion, who was starting to get a little annoying. It couldn’t be held against him, there weren’t many stallions which would sit by and watch someone harass a little silver beauty.
With a snort, he turned around as though to leave, instead taking a short lap, tossing his head violently. Once whatever he needed was gotten out of his system he came back with a strange, fast paced extension trot. ”I don’t want her here,” he said firmly, ears back.

Maluka looked apologetically to the silver filly. "Maybe it's best if you go," he said quietly, he didn't want to see her get hurt. Maluka nuzzled her and half pushed her towards the direction where the others had gone. He watched her go sadly and then turned back to Garrong, all sign of emotion suddenly gone again. "There," he said, "she's gone."
.:Ooc: Short post, I think it says a lot though (haha Maluka's gone soft, even bad guys have a heart XD):.

Barina watched Garrong pace violently around the clearing with wide eyes. Standing behind the grey stallion she felt relatively safe, but she still watched with concern, the black horse was unpredictable and violent. Garrong returned to the two light coloured horses ”I don’t want her here,” he said, with his ears laid flat on his head. Barina snorted, that much was obvious. The grey stallion looked towards her, and Barina saw a note of apology in his features "Maybe it's best if you go," he said quietly, nuzzling her then pushed her gently in the direction the others had run off. Barina looked at him with understanding in her soft brown eyes, he was trying to protect her. Whickering gently to thank him she turned and trotted off through the woods, flicking her tail in defiance as she passed Garrong. When she reached the edge of the clearing, she hesitated and turned back to look at the grey and the black. Whinnying quietly again to the grey she then set off at a brisk canter through the woods, wondering where she should go. She trotted over to the nearby stream and lowered her head to drink. After a few sips she waded in to the water to clean the blood off her back then climbed out onto the bank and rolled in the sand to get the itch from the sweat out of her coat. She browsed around the stream bed then finally settled on grazing unsettledly by the trees. At any sound she raised her fine head nervously, half hoping it would be another horse. She had never felt more alone.
