Licking the Wounds

Sola nodded at Rezar's explanations. He wanted to find a nice, decent place to graze for the winter, but chances were that all those kinds of places were already inhabited by the stronger stallions, which Sola had no chance of beating or driving off.
"Perhaps we could go the the river's edge?" Sola suggested, "there are trees for cover, water and good grass."
He decided he would figure out what to do from there, and whether he'd have the guts to ask Baramay to join him.

"Well then," Baramay said happily, "let's head to the river!" She tossed her bronze mane and nipped Sola playfully on the shoulder. She galloped ahead then stopped suddenly as she realized, "I don't know where the river is." She felt so embarrassed, she was probably the only one who didn't know where everything was.
